Sunday Selections ... Textures and Colours in Nature ... Lichens and Moss

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

The meme is now continued by River at Drifting through Life. The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to River.

This week I bring you lichens and moss ... I love the textures and colours so much that I'm sharing some photos I've shared before, please forgive me, but look ... isn't it just beautiful.

(Photos from Western Australia and Sitka, Alaska).

Enjoy ....

Thanks for popping by xxx.

Sunday Selections ... Textures and Colours in Nature ... Trees

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

I recently shared my Colours and Textures in Nature ... Bark photos, but today it's trees. Not necessarily trees in the classic way, sure there are a few of them here, but this series hopefully looks at more than the classic green tree or forest setting.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Part 1 ... Bits and Pieces of Trees

This tree had fallen over a walk path, it had been sawn so that the path was still accessible.

Sunday Selections ... Textures and Colours in Nature ... Earth and Water

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

Here is the third series in my theme Textures and Colours in Nature.  This one is entitled Earth and Water.

We have some amazing colours in the earth and water in Western Australia, and here are a few of the shots I have taken travelling around our large and varied State.  I have included a few 'rock' photos as well as part of the earth component even though there will be rock series that stands on it's own a little later.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
