Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.
The meme is now continued by River at Drifting through Life. The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to River.
Here is the third series in my theme Textures and Colours in Nature. This one is entitled Earth and Water.
We have some amazing colours in the earth and water in Western Australia, and here are a few of the shots I have taken travelling around our large and varied State. I have included a few 'rock' photos as well as part of the earth component even though there will be rock series that stands on it's own a little later.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Thanks for popping by and Happy Sunday. xxx
Love, love, love the colours and the textures. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMy dinosaur self wishes that people couldn't drive on the beach though...
I hear you about the 4WDing on the beach, but it is the norm here in WA, and I must admit I was taken along the beach near Esperance by a work colleague and I can see why people love it. Thanks for popping by EC. xxx
DeleteThese are so gorgeous! You could probably sell them to a company that makes calendars.
ReplyDeleteLove the 'sudsy' one. Looks like someone's washing machine overflowed.
Thanks River, not sure if they would be good enough for a saleable calendar but I have thought of entering into the local Show. thanks for popping by today xxx
DeleteThese are magnificent photographs Karen and it shows how beautiful our State of Western Australia is and how many variations there are from north to south..
ReplyDeleteFor someone who wasn't a camera buff just over ten years ago you really are doing a great job with that camera of yours. Keep up the good work and show us more over the coming weeks, please. xxx
It is a pretty amazing State that we live in and I've been lucky enough to travel around a fair bit of it with work. Now I just need to work out how to best use my new camera and start taking some more. Thanks for popping by xxx
