Sunday Selections ... Animals

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

The meme is now continued by River at Drifting through Life. The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to River.

Over the next couple of weeks I thought I would share some of the animal shots I have taken. Some I think I have shared before, so excuse me if you've been a reader long enough to remember them.

Insects
I have no idea what this was, but I captured it on film in the Dandenongs in Victoria while waiting for the family who were on the Puffing Billy.
Reptiles
Dragon, Photo taken in the Chinese Gardens, Darling Harbour, Sydney, NSW
Same dragon, different angle
Carpet Python. Photo taken Cape Le Grand National Park, South Coast near Esperance, WA
Same snake, different angle
This little fellow was quite tiny, I had my camera on macro. Photo taken Silent Grove, King Leopold Conservation Park, Kimberley Region, WA
Motorbike Frog, Photo taken our backyard (He's on one of hubby's orchids)
Mammals
Southern Brown Bandicoot or Quenda. Photo taken near Augusta, South West Region, WA
Same Quenda, different angle.

One for the Road
Make sure you come back next week, she's featuring birds!!!
Photo taken Monkey Mia Resort, Denham (Shark Bay), Mid West Region, WA

    1. There are more pelican shots to come, but he is a funny one for sure.

The motorbike frog sounds just like a motorbike zooming up in speed. We have quite a few in our backyard, plus a few pobblebonks as well.

Hope you had an awesome Sunday.
