Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim or Frogspondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.
The meme is now continued by River at Drifting through Life. The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to River.
I love roses, we have a few bushes in our back garden which are going crazy with the Spring weather. It's also no secret (to my family anyways) that I love The Sound of Music and one of my favourite songs, is of course, My Favourite Things.
So without further ado, I give you, straight from the song ... raindrops on roses (and a few other places too).

Thanks for popping by xxx
Love, love, love your roses and raindrops. And the stunning spider web. Sometimes we get them decorated in ice in winter - which is a joy to see.
ReplyDeleteThanks EC. I would love to see a photo of a spiderweb with ice on it, I imagine it looks like lacework. Thanks for popping by, hope your Sunday is going well. xxx
DeleteOh my, those roses are so beautiful and those spring showers today are so welcome although could do without that cold wind. Blowing a gale down here.
ReplyDeleteYour camera work is fantastic and so are your roses. Have never thought of taking a pic of a spider web. You are just so artistic in your thinking. Thanks for sharing. xx
P.S. What is that plant before the spider web?
That was a flower on a succulent that was in a pot on the patio. Now gone as it was super spiky and caught Immy once. But interesting flower, especially with the raindrops so too good to not photography. Thanks for the compliments on the roses and my camera skills. Sometimes I manage to get a good shot, but I also throw a lot away, that's the good thing about digital cameras. xxx
DeleteWhile all the photos are beautiful...I like the last one best. Dewdrops on lace...beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that white rose with the yellow center and the almost orange one further down, but what is that plant second to last, just above the spider web?
ReplyDeleteRaindrops are lovely on anything.
