Weekend Rewind/Sunday Session - For Melissa

So I had nothing for this week's for Alison's Weekend Rewind with the chilly theme, so thought I might link up with Thea's Sunday Sessions. Then I saw my cyberfriend Melissa's Weekend Rewind and her post moved me to tears. But it also gave me an idea, so I am bending the rules and combining 2 of my favourite memes (hope that is okay Alison and Thea).

So Melissa this is for you and your beloved Joel.

Strangely enough this song has been in my head for the last week. Rain by Jose Felicanio - sorry the Mac thing means you have to follow the link - enjoy, and may you have many more restful rainy nights nestled with the man you love. xxx

Sunday Session

Time for Sunday Session, hosted by Thea @ Do I Really Want To Blog.

Time to share an oldie but a goodie and a newbie.

This week's oldie (Little Green Bag by The George Baker Selection) was prompted by a dance I watched on the American So You Think You Can Dance - didn't like the dance that much, but was reminiscing over the song so had to track it down.

The newbie was found after checking out Pink Patent Mary Janes blog a few weeks ago, she featured the clip of Cee Lo Green (with Gwynth Paltrow) performing Forget You, and I loved it, hope you do too.

Sorry, yet again blogger is not allowing me to upload videos, so please follow the links.

Happy Sunday - we are lucky here in Perth this week as tomorrow is a public holiday - yippee.

Sunday Session

Welcome to Sunday Session, hosted by the lovely Thea, each Sunday is a chance to share some of your favourite music. An oldie and a newbie is the go. Pop on over and see what is on offer.

My newbie this Sunday is Bad Things by Jace Everett - I love this song, used as the theme to the TV Series True Blood (which I also love), his sexy sound reminds me of Chris Isaac. So my oldie this week is Chris' Wicked Game.

Enjoy - please follow the links as Blogger just does not allow me to upload videos - I really need to work out why.

Sunday Session - the kids version

Sunday Session is bought to you by the lovely Thea (and the letter L). Sunday Session is about choosing an old song and a newbie to share. This week I am adding a twist, the kids version, just for fun,

I'm sure it must be a iMac thing, but I can not get videos to load here, so please follow the links - sorry I know it is a pain.

When my kids were growing up we had every Sesame Street LP (yep LP) and they got played to death, but my favourite song (well one of 2) was the L Song, and so without further ado I give you ...

Recently I gave my youngest grand-daughter my old iPod (remember I won a new one last year) and a speaker dock loaded up with Sesame Street songs (which are now available on iTunes), as well as the Wiggles, Playschool and some Justine Clarke. While downloading I fell in love with Jelly Jelly (sorry can't find a video but here is the audio link (you just have to click on it when you get to Justine's page).

Sunday Session - Who's That Guy?

Sunday Sessions is hosted by Thea - pop over and see what's playing.

Okay - I am still not able to load the videos, so please bear with me and use the links.

I don't know about you but my music taste is eclectic but I never thought I would have Guy Sebastian on my iPod. I remember when he was on Australian Idol, I wasn't a huge fan at all. But there is something about his upbeat pop tunes that keep getting caught in my head. So this Sunday Session is all about Whos' That Guy? Oh and by the way, check out that lovely rose tattoo under his arm - it is a work of art.

Sorry Thea - only newbies this Sunday

Sunday Sessions - With A Slightly Sexy Feel

Hosted by Thea, this is my first foray into Sunday Sessions.
You chose an oldie and a newbie to share.

Sorry I can not get the videos to load (after 2 hours it was still not loaded thru blogger) so just giving you the links. If someone can tell me how to do it quicker that would be great!!

I'll start with Darren Hayes' Insatiable (super steamy)

And my newbie is not that new, but reasonably new.
